I’m so excited to be working at the Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity this year as a mentor on this awesome Masters of Creativity course running for the first time. The course attendees will work with world-class ‘masters’ including David Droga, PJ Pereira and Mark Tutssel on a real brief from Mondelez International. I’ll be mentoring the delegates through the week as they work through the creative process on the brief, inspired and informed by the masters as well as the seminars at the Palais. Last year I was lucky enough to be a judge on the PR Jury at Cannes and it was a 9 day masterclass in itself – the most intense and humbling schooling in what makes brilliant creative work.
This year I’ll get to hear what those at the top of their creative games think about the future of the industry as they talk about innovation, creative effectiveness, data and selling creative work. What I love about my job is that I never stop learning myself and I’ll be learning from some of the world’s best in June. Of course I’ll also be zipping out to try and catch some of the amazing speaker line-up – Gore, Pharell and Amanpour are on my wish list this year. I’ll be sharing all the juicy bits from the course so stay tuned!
