“The role of a creative leader is not to have all the ideas; it’s to create a culture where everyone can have ideas and feel that they’re valued.” Sir Ken Robinson
We work with businesses and individuals to develop creative leadership skills. The charge for creativity must come from the top of the organisation and we work at executive level to tailor bespoke programmes to create and foster a creative culture. There are so many factors at play that this work is always tailored to the needs of the business we are working with, following an audit of the organisation’s current capabilities.
We run creative leadership programmes focused on delivering creative excellence. We’re currently working with the Creative Directors at several London agencies to develop their skills and lead changes working with their boards and HR teams.
How to develop a culture where ideas and innovation can thrive is the subject of one of the chapters in Claire’s new book In Your Creative Element. Claire interviewed creative leaders from around the world including practitioners at the UN, Twitter, Paddy Power and the NHS for their insights and advice on how to drive creativity in a range of very different organisations. Claire works for the Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity running the Masters of Creativity programme every year at the Festival learning from the best creative practitioners in the world. We bring all of this experience to bear when developing our work for you.
We run bespoke Creative Leaders programmes for anyone who has to understand and lead the creative charge in their business. From top team executives, MD’s and HRD’s interested in creating a transformational breakthrough in leading creativity in their organisation. A typical approach would be as outlined in the the course details here TheArtofPossibilityCreativeLeadersprogramme. You’ll work with Claire and leadership expert Elizabeth Lovius who works with top teams at household name companies internationally.
“Elizabeth is quite simply the most effective, insightful and inspiring Executive Developer I have worked with.” Julia Dell HR Director, Rugby Football Union
Current creative leadership work includes working with the Creative Director to create a bespoke toolkit and training to roll out and train in an 80-strong creative business. We are running a year-long programme for a 60-strong in-house team involving the VIEW, Creative Ninjas, Brainstorm facilitation and building an internal team to drive creative change within their world-famous business. We always start with a creativity audit to assess where you are and work together to get you there. Call us on 07917 132672 to have a chat about what your team needs or email email@example.com to find out more.
Typically we start with a 1-day facilitated Art of Possibility Leadership session to unpick the elements that drive a successful creative business and enable the leadership team to become agents of creative change – leaders that stand for and inspire creativity wherever they go and whatever they do. In addition to facilitating creativity they are the agitators in the organisation – the grit in the oyster that creates the pearl. They are masters at transforming limits to create possibilities and help others see things differently. They engage everyone in creating the organisational climate for creativity. The outputs are tangible:
- Setting Big Hairy Audacious Goals for creativity
- Setting a creative charter for the business
- Setting a creative vision and values
- Exploring – what’s stopping us? How do we make it happen?
