Oh yes we Cannes!

I’m so excited to be going back to the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity 2017 for the fourth time this year.

This will be my third year working on the highly acclaimed Masters of Creativity course alongside the industry legend, Chairman Emeritus of DDB, and original ‘madman’ Keith Reinhard. I’ll be working as a mentor to the integrated and international teams taking part in the creative challenge set by Mondelez, this year on the Oreo brand, and helping them craft their (hopefully) winning pitch at the end of the week to an esteemed panel of judges. This year my colleague and fellow trainer Anahita Milligan is going to be heading to Cannes with me to help coach the teams.

Participants work in multi-discipline groups alongside a mentor to answer a real-life brief set by Mondelez before presenting their response on the final day to the client and the judges. It’s a collaborative experience and a chance to learn with people from a host of different job backgrounds, company types and countries. The winning team will collect with trophy onstage during the Awards Show.

I’m also going to be running a workshop on bravery, risk-taking and trust at the Festival with Gerry Hopkinson (below) co-Founder of Unity PR. We’re just cooking up the content so watch this space!
