Mastering Creativity – our new online creativity course

I’m really excited to be able to share what I’ve been working on over the past few months – a new 6 part, online creativity course with the creative industries bible – Creative Review – and some of the most influential and exciting people in the creative industries.

We’re going to lift the bonnet on creative thinking, and share the secrets of some of the best practitioners in the world who’ve given Patrick, the editor of Creative Review, rare insights into their creative process.

The carefully curated content in this shiny new online creativity course is designed to increase your confidence in your creative abilities to generate, articulate and sell your ideas as well as give you an increased understanding in both the art and science of creativity.

So here’s an overview. There’ll be 6 modules, each of around an hour, of video lectures from me – sharing knowledge and exploring each of the subject areas from creativity uncovered to how to sell your big ideas.

There’ll be a mix of theory and practice, with worksheets for each module for you to dig deeper into the content. We’re also going to meet creative pioneers – including Sir John Hegarty, Caroline Pay, joint chief creative officer at Grey London, Zia Zareem-Slade, customer experience director at Fortnum and Mason, Michael Johnson, Founder Design Studio Johnson Banks and Jim Sutherland.

These are people who’ve made a significant impact in their field with outstanding creativity and who’ll offer their insider know-how and insights exclusively to you on the course. You’ll also receive an e-book of In Your Creative Element – my book on creativity in business and recommended course reading.

Week by week the workshops will reinforce where you already excel creatively and introduce strategies, tools and processes to further develop your skills.

By the end of the course you’ll have a more in-depth awareness of your personal creative processes, have a mental and physical toolkit to tackle every part of the creative process, you’ll be able to approach briefs more effectively and know how to lead your teams to better, more effective creative work.

You can take this online creativity course at your own pace between October and December. There will also be a regular Q&A with me to help support you through your learning. The course is CPD accredited and starts on 10th October 2017 and will cost £599 + VAT.
