If you work in marketing, PR, advertising, experiential, design or digital agency-side then you know this already, and creativity will no doubt be front and centre of your proposition and a recurring theme in your conversations with clients.
If you work in-house then you’ll be striving to bring the best creatively from your own team and your agency partners.
According to the World Economic Forum creativity will become one of the top three skills workers will need by 2020. With the avalanche of new products, new technologies and new ways of working, workers are going to have to become more creative in order to benefit from these changes.

Creative leadership is the ability to bring together the individual talents and skills of your creative workforce and to ensure that the organization knows how to lead, manage and reward creative behavior and most importantly how to sustain it for the long-term. This shiny, new creative leadership programme is led by Claire Bridges, Founder of creative training consultancy Now Go Create and one of the only people in the UK to hold an MSc in Creativity, Innovation and Leadership from Cass Business School combining 20 years sharp-end experience at MD and CD level with academic learning.
Claire is delighted to be working side by side the inimitable Elise Mitchell, a three-time CEO, leadership strategist, executive coach, author, wife and mum. Elise founded and sold Mitchell Communications, a PR business with creativity at its heart, and has coached and trained leaders from various industries ranging from non-profits to Fortune 500 companies.
This is a unique opportunity to tap into their collective knowledge-banks in their respective subjects and hard-earned insights at the coal-face over a combined 50 years.

A Friday-afternoon-to-lunchtime-on-Monday residential event in London, UK kicking off on 13th September at the Citizen M Hotel in Bankside. We are inviting potential delegates from a broad range of backgrounds and disciplines and we anticipate an international tribe. You’ll share your experiences and questions with the group.

Prior to the event you will experience one-on-one video calls with either Claire or Elise to talk through your goals for attending the course and ask any questions.
Creativity and leadership personal assessments
The VIEW is a self-report questionnaire that measures three important dimensions of style that relate directly to creative behaviour, problem solving, change management and innovation.
DISC – your personalised DISC profile will provide you with personal insights using a model to increase your flexibility in leadership behaviors, andresources to which you can return as they gain more experiences and become more multidimensional leadership.
We’ll debrief these during the programme and refer to it throughout. It’s quick to complete and specific to creativity so should augment any other psychometric tools you may have experienced.

Who’s this programme for?
This programme is open to anyone who has to understand and lead a creative charge in their business. From top team executives, MD’s and HRD’s interested in creating a transformational breakthrough in leading creativity in their organization through to in-house marketing team members who have to lead and evaluate creative work internally and externally. This will be a small cohort made up of a broad range of industry leaders providing opportunities for cross-industry knowledge
- We’re assuming that you will have a grounding in leadership principles as part of your career development to date.
- You probably have at least 8 year’s work experience to be in a position to be leading others (but this is not mandatory).
- You’re seeking to draw on your own leadership style and the principles of great leadership to marry alongside what it takes to lead for creativity.

I’m Claire, Chief Spark and Founder of Now Go Create. I’m an ex-WPP Consumer MD and Creative Director who has worked with some of the world’s biggest agencies and brands in my previous 20-year PR career. My passion and focus is now the practical application of creativity for business; training companies and individuals how to be tap into and leverage their creativity.
I’ve worked with over 15,000 people around the world to oil their creative wheels and am am one of only 100 people in the world to hold an MSc in Innovation, Creativity and Leadership. I’m so excited to share this new programme with you, working alongside Elise to share our combined knowledge in the fields of creativity and leadership.
I’m Elise Mitchell, a three-time CEO, leadership strategist, executive coach, author, wife and mum. I’ve coached and trained leaders from various industries ranging from non-profits to Fortune 500 companies and am passionate about pouring into leaders to equip them for success. My goal is to inspire and equip you to lead at the next level. During this weekend, I’ll be your personal instructor, mentor and coach, I’ll take you through unique, thought-provoking content I’ve created and tested to deliver game-changing results.

What if I change my mind?
We do not issue refunds for this leadership experience – this is a unique event and we don’t have another date confirmed yet. If you are travelling from overseas we assume you will have travel insurance to cover any losses.
Can I transfer my booking to someone else?
If the named delegate cannot attend we can transfer your booking to another person within your company for the same date. There is no refund or transfer if the delegate fails to attend the course. Please email email@example.com if you wish to change the name of the person attending. Changing the name of the attendee will incur a £30 admin fee.
Can I reschedule my course place to a different date?
We try to be as flexible as we can however once you’ve paid and received your confirmation we assume that you will be joining the course. We are a small organisation, and our group sizes mean we usually sell out, and late cancellation means that we are out of pocket.

Who else will be in attendance?
You will be with managers and leaders who are interested in becoming the most effective leader they can be, through the lens of creativity. Elise has coached and trained leaders from various industries ranging from non-profits to Fortune 500 companies, nationally and internationally. One of her last courses attracted leaders between the ages of 32 and 62, from nine different industries and twelve US states.
Claire has worked with teams from all over the world sharing her insights including applying theory into practice from her studies. We anticipate a strong showing from those in the creative industries due to our backgrounds and we welcome leaders of all ages, experience levels and industries.
The only requirement is that you are eager to learn and grow.
How should I plan my travel?
Please plan to arrive at Bankside in time for the start of the workshop on Friday at 5:30 p.m. and plan to stay through the end of the session on Monday at midday. You can stay wherever you wish. However, we have arranged a discount with Citizen M, Bankside.
Participants are responsible for their own travel arrangements and accommodation costs.
What meals are included?
Breakfast and lunch are included in your registration fee for Saturday and Sunday, and breakfast on Monday. These will be catered at our meeting facility. Allother meals are on your own. You will also have free coffee, tea andwater throughout the day. Please let us know if you have any food allergies.
Breakfast and lunch are included on the follow up half day in November.
What if I want to carry on my development post the course?
We offer coaching packages for ongoing development with Elise via Skype or one-to-one in person in the UK with one of Now Go Create’s coaching team. Contact us for more information.
