Yesterday I ran a lively, highly interactive session for one of the UK’s biggest department store retailers as part of a 2 day off-site workshop they were running. The brief was to engage 60 members of their HR, L&D and resourcing teams, introduce them to some new ways to solve problems and to have a little bit of fun along the way! Most of the team had never had any creativity training before so were all keen to find ways to tackle the issues they had been discussing at their conference. We ran three 1-hour sessions for the team, split into groups of 20 focusing in each session on one of their key challenges learning and practicing creativity tools. The sessions were noisy, fun and highly interactive and most importantly generated a large number of ideas that the team can take forward. Not bad for an afternoon’s work!
As you can see from the image above the overall feedback was brilliant, almost everyone scoring 8 or above and many 10s! Nothing makes us happier than a happy client and people walking away with some new skills and easy ways into creativity. If you’re interested in running a creativity session as part of a workshop or away day please give us a shout!
