We’re excited to be running some of our popular Creative Safaris for the creative community attending this year’s Eurobest 2015 Creativity Festival in Antwerp in December. Billed as the little sister to the Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity (where we also help to run the Masters of Creativity programme) this year’s theme is Makers and Breakers. That’s the makers of creative – people like Wesley West, an artist and model maker who’s going to make an installation out of all the rubbish generated by the festival which I’m interested to see take shape. Also keen to see female maverick porn makers, film producers and the whore rights activist, multimedia artist and sex performer Sadie Lune talk about the porn industry in 2015. And then there’s the breakers – that’s the rule breakers – with lots of talks scheduled about breaking constraints to generate ideas. The full schedule is here. Antwerp is a brilliant place for exploring on foot for our Creative Safari. There’s the world famous diamond centre and the fashion quarter, as well as being a city with great history and culture. There are also several museums that will provide brilliant creative inspiration the MoMu fashion museum, the M HKA Museum of contemporary Art and The Rubens House. We’re looking forward to gently guiding people at Eurobest 2015 to open up to all that amazing stimulus around them. If you’re heading to Antwerp let us know and join us!
